Goodbye Europe, Hello USA!
That's right folks back in the States, lock up your valuables, protect your daughters, my time in exile is finally over! My company has had me based in Europe since April of 2002, and now it's time to come home. I fly out of Heathrow tomorrow morning to head to San Jose (sorry JeeberD, I won't be stopping in DFW on the way back). From there I get my stuff out of storage, and head to the new house outside of Austin. For those that are interested, my chronicles of travels in Europe, and also pics of the new house are on my website. I'll post the pics from the UK once I'm settled in to the new house.
Lots of different emotions right now. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time over here, I have learned a lot, and am sad to go. But I am happy to get back to living in Texas, I've been away since 1997. I'm basically starting my life over, since everything got put on hold, or went away during my travels. I kinda feel like Calvin on the final Calvin and Hobbes strip. :D
So I won't be posting much, if at all, over the next week to 10 days while traveling and moving. I'll try to keep my teams in the FOFC FBCB and UBL monitored and updated. See y'all once I'm settled in back in Austin!
