I can not find anything in a search about this, which I always do since I am gone five days a week and miss many things, SO.........

....Has anyone noticed that in all the FOF multiplayer leagues out there, that the Coach of the Year award winner has gone to the Arizona Cardinals (or the team that replaced them in fictional leagues) in every league that I can find enough info on. This happened in the Internet Football League, who just finished season 1 not too long ago, it just happened in the USFL where the Seattle Stingrays (my team, so i know for sure that it is the AZ Cards replacement) coach won the award, I see that the Cardinal coach won it the first two years in the WigFL. I would guess that the SLO Burn in the CFL is the team that would have been the Cardinals, and their coach won the award after thier first season......one other thing in common between these Coach of the Year award winners, most of the teams sucked, and sucked bad.

If this has been noticed then I can't find anything on it, so does no one care about it? I would like to see this fixed by Jim if it is a bug, and if it happens every year as it has the first 2 years of the WigFL.

Yes, the same thing happened in the IHOF's inaugural season.

San Luis Obispo's coach won the award after finishing the season with a 3-13 record. They were the fictional replacement for the Arizona Cardinals.

Yeah, but c'mon. For SLO to win 3 games after the start they had? Dude deserved Coach of the Year. :D

Yeah, my Seattle Stingrays team finished with 8 straight losses, my coach didn't deserve squat.... :D

I didn't realize it was the same franchise in all leagues. Thanks for connecting the dots Cringer.

Just confirming that in the CFL too, the coach of the year came from, you guessed it, the Arizona Outlaws...

Just read the IHOF forum. I'm not in the league but it is a blast nonetheless. In fact, it reads a lot like FOFC, minus politics and more on topic... And the website is great !

Well, we had one big (fake) politics blow-up a few months back, too.

The website is indeed amazing, VPI is a super-commish.

I have confirmed that in our office league, Arizona has one coach of the year in both of the first two years without having done much of anything on the field.

I'm really pissed that I missed out on IHOF... I thought I would not have the time to play MP FOF, but it turns out that I spend a lot of time on the IHOF board anyway...

Oh well...

Hmmm, lemme guess - Alburqueque changes its coach at least every 4 years...

Is that the correct answer ?

28.5% of the time, the Coach of the Year is fired or replaced?

All of the answers are Correct!

Albequerque=Arizona in this MP league.

You have a 14-year multiplayer league going?

Wow! And I thought I earned the Coach Award with my awful offense and managed to win 6 games, even though, I would have never given an award to a coach with a losing record. Now its a bug :)

That makes more sense.

Not really. I simmed through the first 12 years for some historical stats to start.

If Frankie Holliday and Bryce Zappa are gay, and if they move somewhere they can get married, and if Frankie is the more feminine...his name would be Frankie Zappa.

I got, well, I am old, that's my excuse. ;)

Vince

And here I thought Coach Marble won it because he cut off a finger...

I'm fairly certain Jim knows...he's in our league, and when my 3-13 coach won the award, it had to set some bells and whistles to humming.
