Just got my copy of Football Manager (you know, the one with the EHM demo).
This magazine is pretty cool. The amount of detail inside is just great. Being one who plays CM a little, I can appreciate the boat load of information I have seen in this magazine. I am sure it will help me understand the game more allow me to be able to take control of a lesser team come FM2005.
I did see that the next issue is going to have a playable demo of FM2K5. Because of it's price, I don't know if I will buy it for the demo or wait until the demo can be downloaded. Either way, if you haven't seen the magazine, spend the money at least once and get it.
Great job guys.

NB. As with the EHM demo the one on the September magazine will be a BETA demo.

NB???
I don't know what that means. Still, I think it's time I pick these magazines up.
I'm not much of a magazine guy but I feel I might be missing something special here. :)

NB - Its an abrreviation of latin words meaning "Note Well" .... fairly commonly used in England for some reason .... sorry for any confusion ...

Not a problem. Glad I brought it up. It is important in context and I'm guessing I wouldn't have been the only one who didn't know what it meant. :)

Aside from the fact that the first pic you see is Marc Duffy's mug (hehe j/k), there are some very cool photos throughout the mag.
In the issue that I have, there is an article named 'the hot 100 players'. No, not a list of sexy footballers (hmmm, sexy footballers...freudian slip?), but a list of young talent and a blurb about all of them. I can imagine that this list will be a valuable tool to sift through FAs in FM2005 and maybe find a couple hidden gems. Very cool.
The article about Adu has a little insert on how to find the next adu in FM2005. Very handy tips to keep in mind for the future release (thanks Marc).

Nah its not stress - we have a lock shaved off everytime we enter a bug into the code .... most of us are wearing wigs ;)

*chuckles* it could be worse.. The Yakuza code of honor would quickly result in a bunch of programmers without fingers to program with

Is this magazine sold off the rack anyplace, or do you have to order it online?

I ordered my copy a few nights ago, I can't wait for it to come!
My slight beef though is that it came to about $20 US after shipping. I guess that's about right for a thick book (100+ pages) overseas, but is there a US distributor?

I was startled to see an action shot of 2 players...one had my last name (Hurst) on his jersey.
Nice of you guys to personalize my copy for me. :D
