And A Vlad Guerrero base hit ends that. Well, it's been fun, goodnight.

You're not supposed to talk about no-hitters in progress.

Well, Sheets is long gone, of course, but that basehit by Vlad is it so far. We are now in the bottom of the 12th, and the Angels still have just the one hit. The bRewers aren't exactly lighting it up with five hits either. 0-0 score, six total hits, extra innings--it's a baseball purists' dream (but with DHs).

BTW, at this moment, the Halos have a guy on second, on from a Junior Spivey error, and one out.

I heart interleague play. I'm thinking the Brewers will trade Sheets for about 5 prospects.

16 Innings of scoreless baseball, good times.

Yup, and I have been watching the whole thing. Heaven defined for a baseball fan--an extra inning game allowing you to watch something meaningful late at night. :)

Milwaukee has tied its own NL record for strikeouts in a game (24). The Major League record is 26, held by Anaheim (then California).

And Geoff Jenkins is the 8th player to strike out six times in a game, tying the ML record.

I'm glad i signed up for MLBAudio a few months back, listening to Bob Uecker at 3 in the morning is so soothing. I laid to down to go to bed with the game on but at this point i can't sleep without knowing how it ends.

It may end soon. The Brew Crew just scored the game's first run. I should have known frickin' Ramon Ortiz would blow it.

But that's the beauty of baseball--the home team gets one last shot at it before the game's done.

And right after they get #26, Podsednik's two-out double gives the Brewers the lead. Jenkins on deck with two out.
