I just pulled off what I think was a major heist in my keeper league.

I gave up:

RB George (RB)
WR Horn (NO)
WR Driver (GB)
Titans Defense

And I got:

WR Harrison (IND)

Driver was getting cut soon anyway. George is my 4th RB (out of 4) and obviously on the down side. Horn is decent, but for Harrison I'm more than willing to part with him. The Titans defense was expendable.

Now I can pair Harrison with Holt for the best WR tandem in the league, with Eric Moulds in reserve. And my draft strategy targeting a young RB is firmed up. MWAHAHAHAHAHA! :D

That's horrible. We kick folks out of our league for stupid trades like that.

I guess I should add that my trade partner's team was horrible to begin with, and that he desperately needed depth. Thus his motivation for the quantity over quality.

How many keepers do you have?

this post has ensured a season ending ACL for a Colts wideout.

the trade sounds just like all the Red Sox trades suggested by callers on sports radio.

No max or min within the roster limitations, which are 2 QB, 4 RB, 4 WR, 2 TE, 2 K, 2 DEF/ST

How long has this league been around? Is it very balanced?

It's not as bad as it looks, depending on what happens with George. Horn could be a monster this year.

I'll tell you what will happen with George. 3.2 ypc is what will happen at best. If he gets 1,200 carries you are all set.

Horn is getting up there in years, though. He was in the league for a while before the Saints got him a few years ago. His value in a keeper league is not as high, IMO, as it would be in a one year league. And Stallworth has looked really good in the Saints minicamps according to early reports and may even become the #1 receiver over Horn this year (although the bar on "looking good" for Donte' has been lowered to "not suffering a season altering pulled hamstring.").

I think that Harrison has the potential to put up better #s all by himself then the other side of the trade.

Horn will be the same age as Harrison when the season starts, so this pretty much a moot point.

As for the deal, it's really not that bad, but the Harrison side wins.

Any Fantasy Football trade that gets 56 yards 0 td a game eddie george off your team is a great deal for that person..

If Chris Brown waffles, or if Eddie gets moved to another team, he could be a nice player to have around.

Still, you got the better end of the deal, Coug.
