I'm a member here (PP), but haven't played much. What are your guys' general impressions of it?

Yeh, I've noticed the poor support...who do you recommend?

Ultimate Bet is my fave, support is great too. Always gotten a quick reply and action.

I recommend partypoker, I don't find their software terrible at all, their support is horrible but they run pretty smoothly too most of the time. And the glut of terrible play makes up for any other problem they might have IMO.

I primarily play on PokerStars. (They have the best and most freerolls)

i recommend poker stars. great software, good support, good players (only one of those is a bad thing :) )

party poker also has horrible tournament structures (small stack to blind ratio to start, blinds escalate according to # of hands played rather than on a clock - terrible for when it gets short handed and play speeds up).

many people (including me) have reported problems with party poker's action buttons disappearing at random times during play - so you cant bet or raise when its your turn. their support on this issue has been atrocious (it is not an isolated case). you can check the 2+2 forums for some more info on this (do a search i guess) - www.twoplustwo.com

most people i know think the poor players more than make up for any deficiencies. i just cant stomach the shortcomings (particularly the high rake [ex. they have $5+$1 SNGs instead of the standard $5 + $.50] and poor tourney structure).

The most profitable site, period.

I think PokerStars and UltimateBet have the best software.

FullTilt is another one, just opened, that is so far *excellent*. Two-table sit-n-gos, great freerolls, and so far, some decent competition.

Also, Chris Ferguson was in a tournament tonight. There's several pros there that play (to promote the site for now).

I think Stars and UB have the best software, too.
