Up in Dayton something like 2,000 people are in, and it costs $60 to enter. Well me and 2 friends did just that so in about an hour and a half we are making the trip. I know it's essentially just blowing 60 bucks, but atleast I'll get some experience under the belt.

If I do good (don't know the specifics yet), I'll have to go back up in a few days for the final tables.

Wish me luck!

Don't forget to bring a telephone book to sit on so you can see the table.

Good luck.

Is your mom dropping off or picking up?

---I was inspired by the telephone line.

I'm curious to know what the blind structure is and the starting chip count. I've been to two small (~200 seats) tournaments at a local card casino. And the blinds were horrendously fast. Mix that in with only 500 chips to start, you really need to make an early move to survive the middle rounds, where people drop like flies.

That'll be cool. Good luck Shorty.

Doesn't seem like we ever have good poker tournaments down here. If ever any guys from the board may be in the Oklahoma City area and want to play some poker, let me know. I'd love to get a game together. :)
