It was a lotta fun. Interesting contrast between the crowd reaction to a guy like, say, Barry Bonds (raucous boos), and then on the other hand, Roger Clemens (loud cheers and a standing ovation in my section prior to his first pitch, and then good-natured heckling after that).
Heck, the reaction to most of the Astros was downright tepid otherwise, with the exception of the fans booing Jeff Kent each time he came up. Carlos Beltran's pinch-hit appearance? Well, they cheered, but that was because he struck out. Nobody else really seemed to raise much of a fuss.
That said, that game was a thrill to watch. A tight pitching duel right up until LoDuca cranked one into the bullpen offa Clemens in the 6th or 7th inning, and a rare two-inning save from Gagne (which, incidentally, set the franchise record for saves). Just a great all-around game to be at, and for the Dodgers to get the win was just icing on the cake.
