Another ESPN 2k5 thread (ordering online)

I ordered ESPN 2k5 from gamestop.com and I looked at my bank statement this morning – I see $21.98 taken out of my account on 07/15. I haven’t purchased many games online but does that mean the game has shipped?

I can’t wait to read the IGN’s review of the game today…. I need a football game to play now!! ;)

I wouldn't get my hopes up but that is interesting. According to my receipt from gamestop they don't bill you until they ship the game. Could be they're sending them out today or tommorow so we have them by Tuesdays official shipping day?

Guess we'll have to wait and see. Either way I can be patient as I'm just getting into ncaa 2005 ;)

I pre-ordered also, and I have yet to be charged...maybe it's an isolated incident...?

I checked and my order was billed as well. I took overnight shipping. I went to the website and tracked my order and it is still listed as having not shipped. My guess would be they are billing today, in anticipation of Monday morning shipping.

FWIW, I was at a Gamestop today putting in a pre-order, and he told me they were going to be getting it in on Wednesday, with an outside shot at getting it Tuesday.

I think I'm gonna cave and pre-order it at EB. I was gonna wait the extra day and use a $5/off coupon at Best Buy, but I can't wait that long :)
