BTW Fouts, I remember you said that you like the big tournies, just you couldn't see throwing $215 in..
Most of the time, I qualify for the weekly by playing a sattelite ($3, $11, usually rebuys)

69th place out of 1570. If I had to finish anywhere other than 1st, that's the best spot I guess

Haven't played in a tourney with rebuys yet. I think I would get carried away. What exactly is sattelite tournament?

A satellite tournament gives you a chance to win a seat at one of the higher entry fee tournaments. Like the one I just finished, they will have $20 entry fee tournaments to win a seat at the $200 tournament. That's how SirFozzie has gotten into a few of the tournaments.

Dola reply,
I don't like rebuys for that very reason. People make some really questionable plays, because they know they have the safety net of the rebuy.

Nevermind, figured it out. The tournament is a satellite to another tournament. Giving it a try.
Edit: Thanks for the reply.
It's like a QB throwing an INT and then giving the ref $200, to have the call overturned....

Well, finished 72 of 513 in my first real money satellite tourney. I had no rebuys. Top 15 go to the $500+30 tourney next Sunday.
