The History Channel's Decisive Battles recreates ancient battles using the Total War 3D engine, allowing the program to highlight the "massive numbers of troops, their formations, and the weapons and strategies each side employed." Decisive Battles will premiere on the cable channel this Friday at 9 PM EST.

To clarify, they are using the Rome: Total War 3d computer game engine. After re-reading the paragraph that wasn't made clear.
