19977 spectators had come to Dave Sumner-Raider Field this cloudy day.

18913 spectators had come to Dave Sumner-Raider Field this cloudy day.

What's the difference? More people showed up to see an 0-5 NC Raider team two seasons ago than my 3-0-1 (W-L-D) squad this season.

Oddly enough, just three weeks earlier, I had a near sellout. Since then, I lost in the cup, tied a league match, and won a league match.

Whisky, Tango...

Time to fire off some HATE ht mail.

...Foxtrot?!?

I agree...my squad, fresh on the heels of a 4-0 drubbing of the #3 team at their place, can only get 22k people in the middle of a 4 game winning streak? Sure, they were one of the bottom feeders, but I haven't lost since Cup round 2...

My crowds have been pretty crappy recently as well. Granted, I am not on a winning streak, but ... it's still been pretty sorry.

I think we found a weakness in HT6.6

If you combined those last two crowds I previously would have considered it a bad turnout (about 18x the size of my supporter club and 25k short of a sell out).

The cup loss was to a lower division club. You then drew with a club that had 0 point in the league at the time. You came back with a road win against a team that was around the bottom of the serie next. This week's game was against the cellar-dweller.

Your near-sellout against the Skkunks came during a good stretch and against one of the better team in the league.

its by far the stupidest change they've made so far..... and thats pretty bad considering how stupid the new ratings are.

i don't care if they think its some "Smart Formula".... fans just don't 'Not go" to sports games if there team takes 1 tough loss. Name one freaking team that has 20k fans 1 week.... then 60k the next week.

Its f-ing retarded and it needs to be fix'ed.

I smell logic, daedalus. It still seems a bit fishy that 30,000 fans or so decide, "ah, screw it."

im leary about loosing my cup match against a team 2 levels higher than me this week because i have a home league match next sunday. it could kill my attendence.
i agree that new formula is a bit too touchy. now, getting blown out in the cup to a team 3 levels below you should hurt your fans attitudes. and even then, i cant see it destroying your fans attitudes. getting blown out to a team 3 levels higher than you should have little, if any affect, on your fans attitude. fans should be expected that i get blown out by a MLS team.

The fans just didn't react well to your most recent promotion:

Limburger Cheese Day

I would suggest talking with your marketing department.

I don't know what you're problem was, my marketing ploy seemed to work to the tune of over 77,000 spectators:

Liverwurst Day
The first 2000 fans to enter the stadium recieve one slice of free liverwurst.*

*Packaging not included.

LOL, i can picture 2000 people wandering around a soccer stadium with a beer in one hand an a sloppy slice of liverwurst in the other bare hand. Just smiling and chomping away :)

I'm in D.V and lost to a D.II team in the cup in the 6th round of PKs. Managed a sellout of 42 500 seats in that match, but only 24 902 showed up to watch me beat the first place team in my series 3-0 four days later. :(

Just what does this say about Gargoyle fans, though. :) They're a special bunch, but I gotta love 'em. :D

You were in 7th place in your series. The poor attendance was not a result of the cup loss.

Sounds like it should be followed up with:

Too many lines, not enough time.
