I picked up this game over the weekend and I am having a good time with it.

If you enjoyed SIMGOLF you should like this one.

It is kind of like the Tennis game where you create your character and then build your skills up to where you eventually can play Mario and some of the other classic characters. You also can travel to play in different tourneys around the world.

After 2 practice rds here are my results.

I was +9 over par the first game. Stunk it up.
-10 under par for my second game. Much better.

You get points after the completion of each event you play in. Kind of like an RPG Golf game.

If you have a GBA SP you should check this little gem of a game out.

Enjoy!

Hm... I've sworn off game buying until Christmas (darn expensive habit) with my only exception being for Pokemon (because that's a good 100 hours of game play time right there). But I'll have to keep it in mind to snag when it hits the $20 shelf.

I almost picked it up last time I was at CompUSA, but decided that ESPN 2k5 was enough for me. I'll have to look into it soon, thanks for the tip!

If you have Mario Golf for the GC, you can import your created golfer from Mario Golf GBA. All you need is the GBA link cable.

I am having so much fun playing this little golf game.

My character is up to level 10 and I have won 3 tournaments.

I won the opening tourney and then defending the title by winning it again.

Next was the Palms Course which was a little more challenging, but I still managed 2 birdies on the last 2 holes to win!!

Now I am on to the Dunes Course and then the Links.

Hey,thanks for the heads up.
Now I just gotta find a way to be able to drive to get the game (and a few others...).

Yes I know I can order online but I'd rather not pay tax and shipping.
