View Full Version : What time is the best time to sell?
Hello again,
I was curious if there is a "best time" to place players up for sale. Im new and I just train keepers right now, and last time I sold an excellent keeper he went for $566,000 ( I placed him out there for $500,000).
Now I have one out there for sale and I did it about 5 days ago and placed him out there for $450,000, passable form, at about 7am Central Time, and no one bid on him.
Is that a bad time maybe to place someone out there? Or was I just unlucky that time around? Now he is out there again, for $450,000, this time about 8am Central Time, and I'm just curious if it will be rough again.
And if I don't sell him, whats the prime time to throw a player out on the block.
Thanks!

Personally, I try to place mine any time between 8 am - 3 pm Central Standard Time. I dont know if it is the best time, but I cant complain. I do see people get into bidding wars at that time and I know that is when I personally do most of my bidding.

You might be having problems because of the sheer number of excellent keepers on the market at the moment. Your price is toward the lower part of the prices, I saw some for 300k and as high as 1 million. He should sell at 450k but it may take a few listings to get the bid that you need.

Almost everyone in the West Hempshire market was asleep when you guy's sale ended. That isn't good.
Personally I like to put my guys up at Noon EST. This means all the the West Hem should be awake and the big European markets are in the early evening when I think alot of people check their teams.
Ok cool, thats good to know. Perhaps Ill wait until a few hours later in the day from now on, but the info on the keepers out there is good to, thanks. I saw a few of the cheaper keepers to, but a lot of them have poor form. My guy at least has passable, so if he doesn't go this time, Ill send him out later in the day.
Thanks all!

I prefer 15:00 to 19:00 Hattrick time. It seems like there are the most people online then. I guess thats when Europe is online.
