Big Madden online announcement - Online leagues?

There's speculation that EA's "big" announcement about Madden online will be leagues. They're supposed to announce something next week apparently.

I really hope they let you do custom leagues where you can only allow a couple people in it and the rest of the teams are CPU. I want to be able to play my best friend like we used to when he lived here.
