Could someone please tell me what the follow category rankings are and effect that they actually have on a player:
Personality
Popularity
Also I know what loyalty is but I honestly wonder how much of an effect this has on a player staying with their current teams even if they get better offers.
Thanks in advance for the help to everyone willing to help me learn the game.

Personality: How cocky they are.
Popularity: How funny they are.
High scores in both mean that the player is a veritable "Gangster of Love." Next time you're playing FOF2k4, hold down CTRL-SHIFT-F10, and enter "CockyFunny" in the secret code box.

Not only is it a code, it was my suggestion. :D

It changes the player names to female names.
I think you have to type it in with no spaces, and I'm not sure about the case sensitivity. You might check www.solecismic.com because I THINK Jim has the codes listed now. There you can see exactly how it should be typed in.

Personality only plays a role if you are using the "chemistry" feature. A players personality determines how strong an affinity or conflict that player may have. Two strong personalities will have either a strong conflict or a strong affinity. Two weak personalities might have a mild conflict or affinity.
Popularity affects the seats in the stands. An "Idolized" player will result in more attendance (although I don't think anyone has ever tried to determine how many, or what effect it has). So if you trade a popular player, it will have a negative affect on attendance. Also, popular players tend to demand a tad more in contract negotiations, I believe.
I think loyalty affects the contracts a player will sign moreso than whether a player will stay with a team. I think loyalty is most evident when renegotiating a contract. A player with high loyalty will be willing to "take one for the team" by taking a lower contract than he might be worth, so that the team is better off.
Hope that helps.
the only codes he has listed are the codes that maximize and minimize team players, and popularity
dola- I see what it does now. It didnt give a "the code has been employed" dialogue box like the other codes do.

Our 3 most popular guys were backups early in the season and late in the season our popular QB is out with a career threatening injury. I can't see a trend during the season, but maybe between seasons there is a trend? For example if acquiring a popular player seems to help to sell more tickets and losing a popular guy seems to cost tickets.
