They should have kicked him off the team.

One one hand I'm surprised that Beamer went this far, on the other, I hafta agree with VPI, that's too much trouble for one person to warrant staying on the team. *shrugs* Price you pay to be successful.

If Vick were to transfer somewhere else, wouldnt he essentially be in the same position in 2 years, able to play again? If he can transfer, sit out a year, and then play again, he should do that. It seems like Tech is wasting their time with him, after all the trouble he has been in.

Well, it's a school suspension, not an NCAA one, so you are right, he's been suspended for a year so he'll play in two years whether he transfers or not...

he could transfer to I-AA and play next year, correct?

*nods* But it would technically be this year, but it's probably too late to transfer though.

If he were to transfer to a 1-AA he could play this season. It would be late, and he would more than likely be a backup for the season to learn the offense.

However, he will more than likely take the redshirt this season, sit in some counseling sessions and basically have a school appointed babysitter with him.

But If I was Va. Tech. I would have booted him. 2 times is one to many......This coming from the guy who hates BYU for their strict honor code right now, losing most of their RB's this season due to it.

I think he still has time to transfer, if he really wanted to. The deadline is the first day of classes, I think.

I've seen this mentioned in several places, this article happens to be the first link I found when searching.

Basically, there's a rumor that Vick has been contacted by Georgia Southern about a possible transfer.

I think the lesson is clear here. When having sex with 14 and 15 yr old girls don't do it at your apartment.

chloroform is a much safer option.
