With the FOFC: FBCB on hiatus for at least a month I have been kicking around the idea of starting up a new league with a little different format.

I like the idea of just getting 10 - 12 coaches and taking over either the Missouri Valley Conference or the Southern Conference.

The prestige ratings for the MVC or as follows:
(recommended prestige for balance)

Bradley - 56
Creighton - 75 (65)
Drake - 41 (51)
Evansville - 47 (57)
Illinois State - 54
Indiana State - 61
Northern Iowa - 52
Southern Illinois - 70 (60)
SW Missouri State - 56
Wichita State - 47 (57)

Unfortunately I do not have the prestige ratings with me for the Southern Conference, I know the teams are balanced but with lower prestige ratings. Here is a list of those teams in the Southern Conference:

Appalachian St.
Chattanooga
College of Charleston
Davidson
Elon
East Tennessee St.
Furman
Georgia Southern
NC Greensboro
The Citadel
Western Carolina
Wofford

Proposed rule set for the league:

Starting Season 2004
Attribute Style 0-20
Human Coaches Fired? Yes (can be changed)
Game Logs? No
Randomize Team Prestige: No
Play-In Game: Yes
Conference Promotions/Demotions: No
Conference Prestige Updates: Yes
Academic Suspensions: Yes.

These are all flexible depending on the majority of the coaches.

Express interest here please, I will take whatever team is the last available.

I'd be interested. I'd want Creighton of course

It will be end of august (sometime on the weekend of the 21st) when I will kick it back into gear. I can guarantee that I can run it fully through at least November, radii might take a co-commissioner then. :D

That's good news! I would still like to see this work too.

I'm guessing this might not generate a whole lot of interest until closer to basketball season, hopefully I am wrong though.

Bump, with this semester coming to an end this weekend and basketball season coming up I am bumping this to see if there is anymore interest this time around?

I could be interested, bought FCB this past weekend and i'm so addicted. I think it would be funnier if we take a lower prestige conference and try to make it a big one.
