I am about to kick off my first dynasty. It's a very fictional OOTP league with a few things added that I hope will make it unique and enjoyable.
But, what do you all think makes a successful dynasty? I guess the obvious is regular updates and actually finishing it. But what else?
Do you like to see fictional accounts of the personalities/lives of players so that you feel like you're reading a good short story? Is presentation of key stats important?
Do you like having a strong antagonist (Kodos' Cowboys comes to mind)? Or are you more of a "Just the facts, ma'am" kind of guy (more like Skydog's style)?
I already have my style pretty much set, and I have some ideas about how to present it, but just curious what ya'll think.
Also, sorry that it's posted here as opposed to the Dynasty forum, but I also wanted to get some input from those of you that don't visit the other forum regularly. For you guys, why don't you read the Dynasties? What would make you give one a try?
