I just took over the Los Angeles Rams, circa 1970. The helmet for that period doesn't really do much for me.

For that matter, the Rams colors don't do it for me at all. So, basically, I'm looking for a helmet design that assumes "what if the Rams decided to have a total uniform overhaul in 1970"

have you seen fritz's work? it's in his sig. actually, i think he does it but it might be someone else, i haven't visited the fobl forums in a while.

Yeah, Fritz does nice work... I just didn't want to presume he'd be interested, and put him on the spot directly... I don't know if I can handle the rejection.

I am on sort of a hiatus, unless I decide not to be on the spur of the moment.

Much of good helmet work around has been done by Cuervo, who is away taunting the fickle gods of the seas. Cuervo uses clipart though

I mean, you could have fun with it... like, use clip art of Jim Everett punching out Jim Rome for the logo or something...

Oh, yeah... because all the starting rosters are completely accurate right now, and we've preserved the original two teams in Baltimore and Houston in 1970... and we went ahead and had the Panthers join the league early... etc., etc.

;)

Seriously, I'm OK with the Rams (hey, I'm not trying to change the team name yet or anything), I just want a less-dorky helmet.
