Former longtime Raiders receiver Tim Brown didn't take long to find a new home.

<!-- END INLINE UNIT --> Brown, who was released last week by Oakland, has reached agreement with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a contract. He will be reunited with coach Jon Gruden, whose Bucs defeated Brown's Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.

Bucs general manager Bruce Allen, who spoke with Brown over the weekend and planned to contact him Monday, said the free agent was intrigued with the possibility of reuniting with Gruden.

This has to be the least shocking signing of all time.

With the exception of any cokehead, wife-beater, or other type of thug who has ever signed with the Cowboys.

I've always loved Tim Brown, but I have to admit, when there was talk about the possibility of him signing with Denver I was pretty upset. I'm not a Tampa fan, but I'm happy he decided to go there rather than Denver. I wish him the best there.

Glad he's going to anywhere but Denver. That would have been awful to see him go to one of the big rivals. I am a little disappointed to sim Tim go. If he make the HOF, which I'd imagine he will, does he go in as a Raider or Buc? Best of luck.

The Raiders need to rebuild and fast.

Come on, I'm a huge bucs fan but the guy has to go in as a Raider. :)

I'd really love to hear the numbers on this deal. If they're reasonable I think this may work out. Tampa's hurting in the receiver department and news from camp is that we're high on Bill Schroeder.

If your team is talking about starting Bill Schroeder then the name Tim Brown does sound really nice, even if he's 87 years old. :)

Only reason I ask, is because I remember when Allen left for KC, he had expressed some disdain for Davis.
