"Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin went down with an injury during training camp practice in Flagstaff Tuesday, and had to be carted off of the field by medical personnel.

The extent of his injuries are not known at this time, but Boldin was in obvious pain following the incident."

It would really hurt some fantasy teams if this guy is hurt seriously. Guess we'll see.

Methinks the biggest hurt for early drafted or keeper fantasy leagues would be Ricky Williams.

But aren't we jumping the gun a bit, assuming it is a career ender? It could be a sprain, and he'll be back next week.

Article above has been updated, now it indicates it's a knee injury, and that his knee "locked up" on him during light warmups, then he had to be carted off the field after that.

Locked up really suggests MCL damage. 90% of cases where a knee locks up it is due to a tear of the Medial Collateral Ligament.

LOL. That fact is one of the few I actually remember from Gross Anatomy. :) One of my lab instructors in there loved helping us identify things by relating it to sports injuries :)

I tore my MCL (and PCL, and other fun) once...spent a semester in a full leg brace and had to relearn how to walk. Fun stuff. :(
