View Full Version : Missing:
My cat. A white persian, actually. Answers to the name of...well, it doesn't answer. It's snobbish. The name of the cat is Charmin, but it rarely answers to it.
Try saying, "meow". It might reply with a meow itself. Also try giving it a treat. Saying the word "treat" might get it's attention as well.
Last seen, well, I last saw it about 2 weeks ago. However, the wife saw it today, I think. It appeared to make it's escape through a window in Park Hills, MO.
The screen that was in the window is apparently missing as well, but we weren't terribly fond of the screen. We are kind of fond of the cat.
If you've seen the cat, give me a PM.
No pix, pls, thx.

Why is it that missing black cats don't get the same kind of coverage? ;)
I'm not a cat person, but I hope you find your cat. Missing a pet is like missnig part of the family. I can, however, guarantee that I have not seen it (unless if has gone for one hell of a walk).

I'm always afraid my cats will somehow escape. Good luck finding yours.

we're taking one of our cats to the humane society next week - would you like her?

Good Luck, I hope you find her. My Ex took our 2 cats when we split up and I miss them more then her.

i love my cats. but they suck at using the litter. went down to the basement today for some pingpong, not 1, not 2, but 5 piles of poop among the basement walls. as of yesterday when i was down there, there were no piles. also, puke on the steps of the stairs and 3 trails of puke on the floor down there.
a few days ago i'm watching queer eye on the couch and i smell poop. i get up and nearly step in it. my cat just shits right next to me. i don't know how to help them poop right.
this is not intended to threadjack, just a small rant.

Update: Oddly enough, about the time TP6 is posting, my wife calls to tell me the cat has been found. Apparently, one of the neighbors saw fit to try and keep him or some junk. It was 2 am when she called, I don't remember exactly what she told me.
At any rate, stand down. I say again, stand down from the search for Charmin.
Thanks for the encouraging words. I had just about lost hope.

It was that bastard Mr Whipple, wasn't it?
If I still lived in the tidewater area, I'd probably have knocked on your door.

I thought I saw a picture of your pussy on google today. It had a ransom note stapled to it. I guess it was someone else's pussy.
Is anyone else here missing pussy?

My kitten nearly got out this morning when my girlfriend left for work. Barely caught him by the collar, the sneaky bastard...
Glad you got your kitty back, AE... :)

Don't know why, but this line cracked me up. I picture a man in a uniform with a bullhorn shouting to the neighborhood.
BTW, I'm glad you found the cat.

Hmm, we let my cat out the door all the time and she always comes back. But then again she just kind of found our house and moved in one day. She'd tear our house up if we never let her back out. Though anymore it's only a question of whether she wants to sleep inside or sleep outside. I'd say the only time she is awake these days is when she is eating, using the litterbox, throwing up on the carpet or looking for a new place to sleep. Lazy animal.

This shouldn't be happening. Cats normally want to use the litter box to minimize the space that they can't roam around. It could be that the cats feel that the litter box is too dirty though and then will resort to going elsewhere. It sounded like they were sticking near to the basement wall which would sound like they are going there to still try to leave some roaming space. You also mentioned you have multiple cats. If they are of mixed gender sometimes having a second litter box is a good idea. How old are the cats? If they are still kittens than you should buy a book to train them. It doesn't take much if you are using the right tactics.
As for the puke there is little you can do about that. Cats have very short digestive tracts and puking is not uncommon. Even when there is nothing wrong with the cat a slight upset tummy and out comes dinner.

both my indoor cats are... hmm, probably about 13 or 14 now. don't know for sure but i could check. one is male, one is female.
i have an outdoor cat who seems to possess a great stomach and poops in places where i do not come across. i like her.

not to mention my indoor cats are very fat, with the male weighing probably 20 and the female weighing like 15. they have been on diet food the past 10 years too. the fat male pushes the female out of the way when he hears food and always gets the first eat. meh

It's been too long since I've watched Queer Eye. I couldn't remember how to properly use the pocket square that came with my tux for my bro's wedding... :(
