FYI:
My parents live in Venice.
My sister lives in Tampa.
Charley is now at 145 MPH.
Prayers are welcome. I hope everyone else's loved ones stay safe too.

My parents live in Venice.
Really? I practically grew up there (6th grade through High School, class of '86).
My wife still has family in Tampa so we are keeping a very close eye on things.

My good friend in Orlando is being willfully blind to his impending doom. I just called him, knowing exactly what he'd say, and sure enough, he's been working all day and thinks it will pass over with no problem. He didn't think much of the fact that he had to drive 15 miles out of his way to find a post office that was open to drop off outgoing mail. Moron.

Florida has been in my prayers the past 2-3 days. I'll specifically mentioned your loved ones, Blackie.

Well, it passed almost directly over M&D, but they had storm shutters installed on the house a couple of years ago and escaped with no damage. But Venice and the surrounding areas were hit pretty hard.

I'm glad to hear your parent's place wasn't damaged Blackadar.
