Has anyone else been following this at all? I used to play the board game as a kid and then the flawed computer versions that hasbro put out several years back.
I still play the computer version (with the computer opponents augmented due to the extremely poor AI in the game) when I get the urge for war. I like the idea of turned based military sims, but haven't been able to get into the real time strategy games where I feel I have enrolled in a Master's program in order to play the game (see Hearts of Iron).
Axis and Allies (http://www.timegate.com/aa/)
I like that the new version let's you play as a real time strategy for those who favor that type of gaming experience, and also let's you play the turn based game that I played when I was a kid.
Any thoughts!
