THE REDS! Went to GAB tonight and wow. What a show. Anywayslet me get to the beef of my story. 5th inning, Brian Lawrence is pitching well (ahem, compared to Acevedo) for San Diego, 5 IP and 2 ER.
Bottom of the 6th, the Reds are down 5-2. No outs, Casey and Dunn get singles. I for some reason thought of the rally cap. So I turned my hat inside out and put it back on my head. My friend, who the only person of the 4 I went with actually loves baseball looks at me, and does the same.. 2 seconds later, bam! Wily Mo hits it out of the park! 5-5! We are pumped, and start to talk about how the rally cap has actually worked.. 2 seconds later, bam! Darren Bragg hits his first HR of the year. Back to back jacks, 6-5 Reds! We end up scoring 6 runs in the inning, and win 11-5 (Dunn and Pena hit back to backers the next inning as well).. it was cool, because I think at one point the Reds were 5 for 5 after we flipped on the rally caps.
Eh. I guess you had to be there.
