Hahah good point. They fit about 6 minutes of content into 30 minutes.
I also saw the "Top 25 Biggest Blunders" one, and they didn't even have any video clips...

What about Rocky II? Wasn't that in 1981? That was pretty good, and much better than some of the crap on that list.

We do realize that this whole top 25 sports movies thing came from a poll ESPN did a few months ago. Basically, it was a 'tell us what your favorite sports movies are so we can show them on Thursday nights during the summer' poll. Of course it's disguised as part of this season of the fan crap, but in many respects it's no different than American Idol. Voting for the Idol whose cd one will theoretically purchase is the same tactic used here in voting for the movie one will theoretically watch. Pathetic, ESPN, just pathetic.

The more recent shows have been better. The sports blunders sucked b/c of the NFL copyright's or wahtever, they coudln't show any NFL highlights. For the rest of them highlights were shown. Of course, that really killed Leon Lett having two of the top ones.
In defense of ESPN, they have improved immensely. They don't do the recap after every single commercial break anymore, and they spen more time showing commentary/events than they do with the annoying guy shouting out numbers. It has become a watchable show, the top 25 commercials last night was entertaining, and I thought the countdown itself was a pretty good one.

It was decent but can someone explain why they took all of 10 seconds to cover #2?
