It seems as though real.com is offering songs for $.49 for a limited time. Anyone know anything about this service? I don't really like realplayer at all, but if I can get cheap songs, then it might be worth it.

I've found cheaper places. like, as in zero per song.

allow me to rephrase:
if I can get cheap, legal songs, then it might be worth it.

'tis true. They're fighting The Power (Apple). I don't know anything about their service, though.

*serious answer*
even at half the price of Apple, it still wouldn't be worth it to have to use the dismal product that Real Player has become. (I assume they are in their format?).
maybe if they paid ME 49 cents a song, I'd think about it.
you think they initial wanted to charge 50 cents, but didn't want to get sued by 50 Cent?

I believe the artist who's songs you are looking for is 50 Cent.

You wouldn't happen to be a distant cousin of Anrhydeddu, would you?

I think this is only for a short time and the price will jump to $1.09 after a while
