Internet for Dummies (help, please)

Somehow, a certain font setting has become screwed up on my computer. It doesn't affect everything, but some websites have oversized text, and as another example, the signatures at FOFC are all bigger.

So the dumb questions of the night: where/how do I change this setting, and why is it only certain fonts or text?

View -> Text Size.

Also check Tools>Internet Options and on the General tab click Fonts. Sets the default font for IE.
