Just looking for a game to play with some of my lower and young players. If anyone is interested my info is Valparaiso United (223430).
Note: Would like to be a home game at my arena. Have been playing too many away matches and I dont want my income to get hit too bad since I am still starting off.

just a note, if you are playing in your country, you won't get hit with the $6k charge if you paly on the road.
And honestly, just go through and randomly challenge people around the world. someone will accept your challenge...
Heck, you might even get a nice surprise and get the top team in the HT world.

I need a friendly this week too. Challenge me and I'll accept. I'm division 6 though. You?

yeah, randomly challenging people will usually get you friendly. what i do is go through the top levels of other countries and offer to come to their place for a match. 90% of the time i make more than the 6k travel fees and sometimes i come out way ahead that a normal friendly at home. the times i dont clear the 6k, its usually only be a hundred or so bucks.
for instance, this week i have a match against the number 1 team in peru. if either of you want a friendly next week though, just let me know. ill play you.

alright, what is your id? As far as traveling, I just joined HT so I dont want to do too many international games so I can watch my finances for awhile.
Once you give me your ID Ill book it.
Thanks

Alright tell you what then, when your able to schedule a friendly go ahead and challenge me 223430. BTW guys have any of you been having problems with people challenging you? I have had 2 challenges today and when I log on it shows that someone has challenged me so I go to their page to look up some info about them and then I click challenge until my club and they're challenge is gone.
Does that mean that the already scheduled a friendly and their challenge towards me is no longer valid?
That means that they booked one already. You will see that message when you log on if they challenged you no matter when they did it. But if they accepted a different one before that, you will get to the challenge page and it will be gone already. So they did challenge you, but you didn't get to the challenge before they booked a match elswhere.
I will look for you next week.

Thanks for the friendly saintjo. Though I am going to get blown out of the water, I really want to give my other players so game time and try a new formation.

you wont get blown away. i never go out of my way to win friendlies. i treate them mainly as training matches and making sure everyone gets some playing time that week for form.
if i wanted to win, i wouldnt play a 5-3-2 ;)
I'll play you next week still if you want. I'm always looking for friendlies, and I think you and I would be a closer match so you can see if any tactics you want to try would work in your league. As saintjo said, I'm sure you guys will be fine as his starters aren't in, but then again I just lost 4 to 0 last night to a Division V team and I'm sure he was playing scrubs too :\

I am actually going to try 3-4-3. Ive played a 4-5-1 and its rated excellent since I have a 1-0-1 record with it. Sorry JFiz, I had that happen on a league game. A guy who I dont think really logs in ties me 1-1, this after I beat him 3-0 last outing. Oh well. Ya if you want after I play the friendly with saint I'll send a challenge your way.
You want home or away?
Doesn't matter to me :) After this week then I won't send any challenges, just send yours and I will accept. I will watch for Valparaiso United next Thursday, but try and send it right away because I leave Saturday for Jamaica ;)

Cool we are all set then, have a great time in Jamaica!
Just so you know man, I'm playing this friendly just for training, so I'm playing everyone normal and nothing special for tactics (no AIM or AOW). Just letting you know so if you want to try anything new to see its impact on a regular playing team, like see how good your AOW or something might help, go for it. This is my last post for a week, off to Jamaica! :)

It turns out I need a friendly, too.
Would prefer international but this late in the game I'm not too picky.
I would like to do it at my place if it's an international, though, I've had a LOT of away internationals lately.
