I was thinking, if I have any time in college, so this is not set in stone and only about 50/50 I'd do it, but would anyone have any interest in reading about a fictional league? It'd start with a draft, where maybe someparticipants could help the teams pick the first round.. who would get the big RB, etc.. then I have Excel to keep league leaders and standings and stuff like that. I did this for a little with 8 teams, but that wasn't really fictional, I just renamed 8 NFL teams and changed the players' names, so I didn't really create new players.

'If I have any time in college...'
Shorty, unless you get a job, you're going to have so much time you won't know what to do with yourself. I got a job, and I STILL had more time than I knew what to do with. Going from school 5 days a week for 6 hours a day to 3 days a week for 3 hours a day was an amazing change for me...not sure how it works up in your area though.

Nine hours a semester... so, you should graduate sometime in 2012.

I don't know if you have been to college lately but 12 hours is pretty much standard. That makes you considered "full time." Looks like he is just missing 1 extra class.

Maybe... but given most graduation requirements, 12 hours a semester isn't going to get you done in four years.

I'm including the classes that I invariably missed because (choose one -- the weather was too nice, the weather was too bad, beer sounded so much better than class, sleep sounded so much better than class, I just didn't want to go) of the various reasons that I missed class :)
Actually, it's more like 16 hours a week -- but I amassed something like 3,000 posts here during that time while playing on various intramural teams, working 50+ hours a week and pulling a 10 hour a week internship. I also partied on a regular basis with my friends. College is a great time to do about a billion things all at once.

The latest TSB Ultra thread http://www.knobbe.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1937&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=255&sid=41cc0bb501a608eb53b544b749176d0d actually mentions FOF as being a good example of how the guy should create the offseason, if he ever gets that far.. pretty neat stuff. I would definitely love to see even a basic career mode for TSB.

Shorty, do you know Teddy Hinnefeld? He's a freshman at Wright State and my cousin--I know it's a longshot, but I felt compelled to ask.

I wish i could have 12 hours. In my first two years I had 6 courses a semester which is 18 hours a week for lecture, plus another 12 in labs and another 5 in "tutorials", which were tests in disguise. 3rd year wasn't as bad, it was closer to 30 hours but there was alot more work to be done out of school. Mind you I'm in engineering and we have a pretty heavy load and if your in a non lab faculty 12 hours is pretty standard.

Nope, but that's a name I won't forget if I run into him.
