I read the posts the other day about all-time greats and it got me thinking about my all time great, Sammy Roberts, and he just retired last tonight after 19 years. This guy was a freak and below are his awards. Mind you this is after his 19th and final year. The guy was like a fine wine where he got better with time. His last year was the only year that his scores dipped. His stats might have been better had I not had a really good qb (Patrick Ramsey) who I could not find reason to bench. Ramsey wins the SB, asks for ridiculous money, signs with Miami, Roberts comes in as starter in his 4th year and wins his first 16 games, and the rest is history. If someone could post the pics of his final year scores and stats I would be grateful. You can reach me @[email protected], pm me, or post where to send.

Here is Sammy Roberts. I know that everyone has had their superstar and Roberts is mine. I think he kind of defines why I keep coming back to Front Office Football. These type of players don't come along very often at all, and it just makes the game better in my Opinion.

Why you let him ride the pine for so long?

Patrick Ramsey had done very well and I am definitely one of those gm's where I can't bench a guy unless he has failed me. Ramsey won the Super Bowl his final year with the team and made his first All Pro team. He actually led the league in qb rating his last 4 years, 3000+ yards, and still did not make the All-Pro team until the last one, when he of couse asked for Bill Gates type money!!!!!

Actually I was going to ask you who's logos those were. :p

What a goof I am.. although away from home I don't have all the sets and I'm using some different ones on my laptop. Good thing the reference page is there.

We need some space over at Solecismic for HOF's like the one above. Jim should create a webpage for stuff like this. Would be kind of neat.
