I hate to root for the Horns, I really do, but I don't want to see them stink it up before the RRS.

So, for this game only, "Hook'em".

Now, pardon me, while I go puke.

This is a very entertaining game. Hard hitting and big plays for both teams and both sides of the ball. Turning out to be quite a rivalry.

Arkansas gets a FG to make it 22-20 Texas.

In other news, New Mexico has a chance to beat Tech.

MJ4H

He plays receiver, too. Signed as a receiver out of high school in fact. Most people think if he goes pro it would be as a receiver.

It is pretty typical with Jones. He has thrown away several games because of stupid fumbles like that. It is very frustrating to watch. My remote control literally disintegrated a few seconds after that fumble.

f y'all. scoreboard. i hope i never have to hear or read or see another arkansas fan as logn as i live

eric hall sucks ass. almost every big arkansas play was becuase of that scrub. we need garnet smith back. cedric benson is heisman material. young was as inaccurate tonight as i've ever seen him. if he's on (and eric hall isn't), texas walks. run defense is 1,000,000 times better. still can't tackle mobile qbs, although hall has no clue as to what contain is. glad we don't see matt jones ever again. he makes a mediocre team very good all by himself. our ol is dominant. we can run on anyone. if greg davis' nuts didn't shrivel up in big games we'd be great on offense. as it is, we have to watch him go away from everything we're good at when the game is on the line. i hate that guy. i don't hate tim crowder or derrick johnson

One of the few things I'll ever agree with IMTG on... :)

Cedric Benson is a very good running back. I think he gets overlooked on the national scene, and he'll have a breakout season now that he's not playing baseball or whatever in the offseason. He has a ton of talent, and I think he's finally getting there.

well aren't you sociable.

better put me on your ignore list cause im not going anywhere.

Matt Jones himself randomly showed up at my church this morning. This is a small town about 5 miles outside of Fayetteville, so it was rather unexpected. Kind of cool, though. Not that this matters to anyone, but I thought I would at least mention it.

says more about you than me. they are just rambling thoughts. take them one by one. what is so hard about that?

Are you actually in college there?

no. i was born in austin, but went to western illinois becuase the i knew the head coach there. he let me hang around, and even help later on. i hated it in illinois, though, so i came back. i'll be at ut next year. i don't see what this has to do with anything

I agree that he has made some very poor decisions and fumbled the ball on some huge plays in several games. He has also almost single-handedly won a few games, and kept them in a ton of other games.. The two multi-overtime games and LSU a couple of years ago just to name a few that he won almost all by himself. He is frustrating to watch because he does so much good, but then almost ruins it all with one big mistake. I guess you sort of have to take the good with the bad with him. At least that wasn't the biggest fumble in Arkansas' history, Stoerner's takes the cake. I thought the play on the next drive where he ran the ball with no timeouts left was actually worse than the fumble, if he made that call. He didn't mean to fumble, but he did mean to run the ball nowhere near the sideline with no timeouts left. I don't know if he or Houston called that, but that was a stupid play to call at that point.

I hear you there. When he took off, I thought he had a lot of room, but he never turned towards the sideline. Of course there is no way you can make that run without going towards the sideline. I think it was a calculated gamble, with him/Nutt assuming he would get at least first down yardage, buying a little time, but likely getting much more (if you've seen Matt on those types of runs, you know it is pretty likely he rips off a big chunk there). So it was just a failed gamble there, but I'm with you, I don't really like it.

It was a very fun game to watch, even though I was disappointed with the ending. Congratulations to Texas for getting that monkey off their back for awhile. That said, this should be a pretty fun Arkansas team to watch this season, too.

matt jones is just incredible. and i loved arkansas game plan. i wish we had an oc that wouldn't take a runner like vince and try to make him a pocket passer. blech. like i said, im glad i never have to see that guy play texas again. he made a couple mistakes, but he was the main reason they were in it at all

this was a big win for mack. i don't feel really great like i thought i might, but i'd much rather be questioning some things after a win than after a loss
