The West went wild Monday when the Texas bullpen scuffled with fans ESPN Motion in the ninth inning of the A's 7-6 extra-inning win. Rangers reliever Frank Francisco hit two fans with a chair during the fray that caused a 19-minute delay.

So why weren't the Rangers DQ'd for using a foreign object? :D

Texas reliever Doug Brocail was seen screaming at a male fan, and the pitcher had to be restrained by his teammates and bullpen coach Mark Connor. Others also had to be held back.

Francisco then tossed a chair at a fan in a lower box to the left of the Rangers' bullpen along the right-field line. The chair hit one man in the head, then bounced and clobbered a woman in the face and broke her nose.

The fans should have gone after Francisco and beat the living shit outta him. This is possibly the worst thing any player has done to a fan, including Ty Cobb beating that guy with no arms. I mean, that guy had no arms, but he was a Yankee/Highlander fan...

Francisco should be suspended for a year or two, if not banned from the game. Charges should also be filed against him. Throwing a chair into the stands is just not something you should be doing.
