View Full Version : Suicanes $100 Football Gambling Dynasty

It was my intention to start this thread last week to document how do on the NFL season, but as so often happens whenever I put money into my account I can't keep myself from betting dumb little things, so I ended up starting the football season with less money than I had intended and decided not to do the dynasty (I just prefer round numbers). Well, after a Marlins win today, my bankroll again stands at where it started, $100, so let's get started with week 2.
Week 1
9/10 Phillies +1 1/2 $20 to win $30 Win
9/11 Ohio State -16 $40 to win $36.36 Loss
9/12 Baltimore -3 $45 to win $37.50 Loss
9/12 Vikings +4 1/2 $45 to win $40.91 Win
9/14 Marlins -1 1/2 $18 to win $14.40 Win
Week 1 Total Winnings- $85.31
Week 1 Total Loses- $85.00
Week 1 Net Gain/Loss- $00.74
Week 1 Final Bankroll- $100.74
Note: I had .43 cents in my account prior to adding my $100 so i'm counting that in my winnings.
Week 2
There are a few NFL games on the board that I like, but none stand out as much as the Jets/Chargers game.
The Jets secondary was beaten badly by the leagues top WR last week, San Diego won't duplicate that feat this week.
The Chargers we're a bet I was gonna make last week, based on the high line, the Texans being overhyped and the fact that they had the most dominant player on the field, none of those things work for them this week. I see a rather high scoring affair but in the end I think the Jets win this one by between 10-14 points pretty easily.
Week 2
9/19 Jets -3 $40.00 to win $34.78
I'll be adding a few more games and give some rambling commentary over the course of the week

I'll be following this every week so u got a reader in me. Funny thing is, i do the same thing in my account. I'll put some money in on Monday or Tuesday and tell myself to wait for the football games of that weekend but then end up betting a few bucks here and there on baseball. Lately i've lossed more than won so maybe i can grab some tips from your thred on who to bet on. Good Luck.

Some other games that i'm looking really hard at for the weekend.
Michigan -20 1/2 VS San Diego State
Virginia -31 1/2 VS Akron
Louisville -17 1/2 VS Tulane
Colorado -20 VS North Texas
The Michigan game really stood out to me on first look and a check over at wagerline.com has them as a high consensus pick, of course my Ohio State from last week was based entirely on wagerline, but I placed the bet on Thursday and when I checked on Saturday alot of late movement was coming in Marshalls way, and we all know how that turned out.
The other 3 games are games that have a high percentage on wagerline that I tend to agree with on first glance, Louisville has rocked in the first 2 games but I have no idea how good or bad Tulane is, so it would be kind of dumb to bet that game, of course that's never stopped me before.
As far as the NFL goes I can see no other games other than Pittsburgh/Baltimore that stand out, and that one scares me because it seems so obvious that Pittsburgh is the play.

I'd take the Under on the Steelers/Ravens game. Divisional games can be wacky sometimes as far as who's favored to win and who actually wins. I'm a Michigan fan and even i don't think they'll cover the 20 points this week, but hey, maybe that's just me. Louisville and Tulane is cancelled, but u may know that by the time u read this.

Yeah, found that out this evening. I'm probably gonna hedge my bets and stay away from betting anything signifigant on College this weekend. I'm thinking about the steelers/ravens under but I really dislike playing the O/U in general.

Some Baseball plays im making on Friday
9/17 Yankees -1 1/2 $15.00 To Win $19.50
9/17 Brewers Moneyline $08.00 To Win $14.80
9/17 Angels -1 1/2 $10.00 To Win $10.00
9/17 Diamondbacks Moneyline $10.00 To Win $27.00
I like a better or comparable pitcher in all these games with good returns on the odds.

Yeah, it's not a real solid play, but for the returns with Webb on the mound I like it as a small play.

My Friday plays,
9/17 Yankees -1 1/2 $15.00 To Win $19.50 Lost
9/17 Brewers Moneyline $08.00 To Win $14.80 Lost
9/17 Angels -1 1/2 $10.00 To Win $10.00 Won
9/17 Diamondbacks Moneyline $10.00 To Win $27.00 Lost
So I finish Friday down $23.00, Brewers and Diamondbacks games went as I expected, tight and low, just couldn't get an upset.
So, I've got $37.74 left in my account and I think the decision on what to do with it is pretty simple, The Jets have been my favorite pick all week so I'm gonna throw all my money left on them, so it's gonna be a slow weekend as I have to wait till 4pm Sunday, how will I ever make it?
Weekend plays,
9/19 Jets -3 $77.74 To Win $67.60
So I'll either be wiped out at the end of week 2 or I'll be up $45.34, smell the tension.

9/19 Jets -3 $77.74 To Win $67.60 Win
So we won with the Jets today and now stand at $145.34.
Not exactly a productive 2 weeks, but we're up $45 dollars rather than being wiped out.
Always look on the bright side.
I'm looking hard at the Eagles game tommorow,
the line has come down from -3 1/2 to -3. I'm gonna wait and see if more Vikings money comes in and maybe moves the line down another half point, if it does I'm gonna jump all over it, even if it doesn't i may play it.
We'll see.

I wouldn't recommend betting baseball, but if you are you may as well take the Twins when Santana pitching. One could have made a decent amount of money betting moneyline on him during the tear he's on.

Ok, screw it, checked out the early lines and saw 2 that jumped right out at me.
9/26 Chiefs -9 $45.00 To Win $40.91
9/26 Giants -1 1/2 $45.00 To Win $40.91
Love the Chiefs to have a breakout game next week, can their defense hold Houston low enough? I don't think they'll have to, I can easily see the offense posting 30-40 points next week.
With Winslow being out with the broken leg I really like the Giants giving up just 1 1/2 at home. Giants are not real good but I think they're talent wise better than the Browns and with the injury and the home field advantage I think NY is a real solid play.

FWIW, you can be fairly certain the line won't drop to 2.5 If it did, the house would be middling itself (or some term like that) - basically if the Eagles win by 3, they'd pay a whole lot of money to people who bet EITHER team. Obviously not what they want - and a quick check of Bodog shows the Eagles at (-3, -125), so it doesn't look like the Vikings are getting all that much action there anyways.
But anyways, I think the middling thing means you'd almost never see a line drop like that.

Yeah, I pretty much agree, but the line has dropped in the past day so I doubt it will go back up, I don't think i'm risking anything by waiting, just on the off chance it does drop.

Can you explain this to someone who doesn't do sports betting? If you bet $77.74 on the jets, and they cover, you win a profit of $67.60(ie. get $145.34 back?)
Is your $37.74 balance there a typo or am I misunderstanding something else?
Are all sports bets placed at those odds? Bet $100 to win $85? Or is that dependant on what site you are on?
Are there sites that, like poker, let you use "play money" to see how you'd do?

That's correct.
Is your $37.74 balance there a typo or am I misunderstanding something else?
No, I had made a previous bet on the Jets, I still had a $37.74 balance left and decided to put all of that on another Jets bet, I was just combining the 2 bets into 1 figure.
Are all sports bets placed at those odds? Bet $100 to win $85? Or is that dependant on what site you are on?
The odds part I can't tell you much about, im sure some other people have better insight into how it is set, but basicaly -110 means you have to bet $110 to win $100, it's called the vig I believe, it's how the house makes money. I think I got that correct. For instance, earlier in the day you would of had to risk $115 to win $100 if you took the Eagles, it just came down to $110 to win $100, so I placed my bet.
Are there sites that, like poker, let you use "play money" to see how you'd do?
I'm not sure, I would assume that their may be, but I've never looked for or run into one.

I went 4 for 4 this weekend for ove $200......

I thought you had to take an over/under.
No, there is an over/under line for every game, but it's completely seperate from simply betting a game.
For Instance,
Steelers/Dolphis game next week, the Dolphins are 1 point favorites, If I were to take the Dolphins I would pay $110 to win a $100 or whatever variation thereof depending on how much i wanted to bet, If i risked $50 I would win $45.
The over/under for the game is 34, which is the combined total score of both teams, again, I would be risking $110 to win $100. So if I bet $100 on the over and they combined for over 34 points I would win $90, if it was below 34 points then I would lose $100.
But picking the winner and picking the over/under are 2 totaly seperate bets.
You can put them together in a parlay, which is more than 1 bet on the same ticket. Say I parlayed the Dolphins and the over, then the Dolphins would have to win by 2 and the total combined score would have to be over 34.
A parlay has better odds because you have to get every bet in it right.
So If I indeed did make a parlay bet of the Dolphins -2 + The over, I would only have to risk $100 to win $260.
I don't know if that makes it any clearer or it's just a jumbled mess, I'm not good at explaining things by writing, lol.

Games I'm already playing,
9/26 Chiefs -9 $45.00 To Win $40.91
9/26 Giants -1 1/2 $45.00 To Win $40.91
Games I'm looking hard at for the weekend,
Washington Moneyline +400 vs Notre Dame
South Carolina -14
Florida -19
Eagles -4 1/2
Welp, i've got $105 to spend on the weekend and these are the games i'm looking at.
The college game i'm not too sure about obviously as I have a horrendous record in College games, but I hate not having anything happening on Saturday, so I usualy do something. I like Washington just based on the fact that Notre Dame always seems to come back down to earth and I can picture them letting up and getting caught at home. I think that Florida -19 is a real good game, Kentucky couldn't score against Louisville, I can't imagine they'll be any better in the swamp against a legitimate top 20 team, the line actualy looks low to me, and that's a little scarey. Troy State has won some shockers but they just don't have the stats, they deserve credit for their wins but I have a feeling SC could blow them out here. The Eagles have shown no reason not to think they can score big on anyone and I think they can easily cover 4 1/2 here, I do think the line will go up by the weekend though so if i'm gonna do it I should do it soon.

FWIW, I think that Houston +9 is easily the best bet of the week (and may end up being the best of the year) and your Chiefs play is terrible. There are so many factors here that point to Houston being better than their record. They have actually won the line of scrimmage in both of their games, but lost both due to turnovers. You cannot expect them to turn the ball over that consistently, and other than that, they have easily played better football than the Chiefs in the first two weeks.
Secondly, with the Chiefs having been so bad against the run so far, expect the Texans to run 50 times this week. Neither team will win this game by 10 points.
Yeah, the Texans were overhyped going into the season, and have lost to two teams that were not expected to do well - but they were not outplayed by either team. If Davis learns to hold onto the ball (and I think his fumbles so far are an anomaly) the Texans are a better team than the Chiefs.

I see what you're saying but in the same breath I can see that the Texans have lost to the Lions and the Chargers (at home no less). I don't think it's a big plus to say that they've won the LOS battle against those 2 teams.
I also think that the Texans have to be deflated at this point and I can't imagine the Chiefs losing at home 2 games in a row.

In college this weekend, you have to like Alabama +6. Yes, Brodie Croyle is out at QB, but we're looking at a severely underrated Crimson Tide squad as well. I think Guilion will be ready to step into Brodie's shoes. Keep in mind that Arkansas returns four starters from last year's team. Their last game was one of those "oh so close" games against a top team...usually a sign for a letdown in the next one. I just think that with the injury, this may be the best value for Bama you'll see this season.
BTW, I just look at the lines for fun and like to see how I do. Maybe someone could set up a contest where we can fake bet on games with a certain starting bankroll. I am just starting school so I don't have time, but it would sure be fun.

I also have the Texans winning that game simply because the report is Preist probably won't play and their not quite the same offense without him. I probably won't bet them outright, but i'll take that spread anyday.
College games i like :

Well, I think that having played better football that the teams they lost to is a positive sign, they can say "eliminate a few mistakes and we are a good football team" where the Chiefs have just gotten their asses kicked twice. They seem as deflated as any NFL team I have ever heard after 2 games.
I see the Texans winning this outright (and rushing for 175 yards) and the Chiefs chances of winning by 10 or more at less than 5%.

9/26 Eagles -4 1/2 $49.00 To win $44.55
That didn't take long. I already documented the first 2 plays and the Eagles have been a play that I had been planning to make all week, it was just a question of how much, well why not all of it, what the hell. So there you have it, my NFL week 3 picks. A couple of wins here would be nice to at least turn a small profit on the week, but 3 wins would be fantastic. 1 win would be adaquete and leave me near my opening amount, 0 wins would be cause me to take some rat poison.

You got a great line on the Giants - I am having a really, really hard time seeing that game miss. It's also hard to pick against the Eagles at this point.

Well, it looks like we're gonna go 2-1 and give us a good day. At first I thought this put me in the + for the week but I don't think it does. I'm too damn tired at this point to figure it out, but I will. I got like $174 now, which is fine. No more College or Baseball for me though.

I'm happy to be up, but when I look at all the stupid little bets that have nickel and dimed me,
in combination with how well I've done at what I consider my strong suit (the NFL) I am dissapointed in myself.
I think actually having a written record of what i'm doing will help me from making stupid plays, and if it doesn't
than I'm dumber than I thought because I oughta know better.

Yeah, oddly I felt that KC actually outplayed Houston by the 10 points (or more).
Nice call on the other two though.
Is it just me, or is KC +6, looking real nice for next week?

Already made a couple of bets
9/28 Indianapolis -3 1/2 $50.00 To Win $45.45
9/28 5 Team Parlay Moneyline $15.00 To Win $80.35
Jets, Eagles, Colts, Titans, New Endland
I love Indianapolis, before the season started this would of been a 8 or 9 point spread, I give Jacksonville credit but I don't think they'll be able to hang with Indy like they have their previous 3 opponents.
The Moneyline parlay is something I do quite often, get 4 or 5 pretty heavily favored teams and take them straight up, I won a number of these types of bets last year and I like this one.
As for the Packers/Giants game, I got no feel for that one, I wouldn't feel comfortable with either side.
As for the Chiefs, no way in hell am i taking them again. Those sons of bitches!!!
Other games I have thoughts on,
Wanna take the Jets, but i can't lay 6 points on the road, no matter how bad I think the Dolphins are, this is one of those games were i wouldnt be surprised to see maximum effort from Miami and a Jets letdown.
I kind of like Tennessee but i'm gonna wait to make sure Brown and McNair play, if they do I think I may play it, San Diego is just horrible.
I also think the Rams are a pretty solid pick in SF, the Rams are nothing more than average, and they can be outcoached, but man, SF is horrid.
I also like Cincy gettin 4 in Pittsburgh, they need to win soon to get things going, and I think Pittsburgh might be the cure.
The only thing i'm hesitant on is that I like alot of road teams this week, in fact, almost all my picks are road teams, and that bothers me, but we'll see how things look closer to Sunday.

I think NYG +7 is a solid play because of all the injuries GB has in the secondary. The Giant WR's are not on the same level as Indy, but Toomer, Shockey and Co. are solid weapons. I see Warner being able to move the chains enough to eek out a victory, but if not, i don't see Green Bay beating them by 8 with defense.

Added the Rams game, so now my plays for the week stand as follows,
9/28 Indianapolis -3 1/2 $50.00 To Win $45.45
9/28 5 Team Parlay Moneyline $15.00 To Win $80.35
Jets, Eagles, Colts, Titans, New England
9/28 Rams -3 1/2 $50.00 To Win $45.45
9/28 Indy & Rams Parlay -3 1/2 $15.00 To Win $39.00
I have no idea why I didn't add the rams to my 5 teams moneyline parlay, stupid little mistakes like that irk me.
Still got $50 bucks and will probably bet the Titans game as soon it's clear McNair will play.

TLK, sorry I didnt get a chance to respond, I would have had no real opinion on most of your picks going into the weekend anyway. The Hou/Oak game I had no feel for and I don't do over/unders hardly at all.
Well, Saturday night I had a decision to make with the $50 left in my account, split on the Jets/Eagles/Titans games, eliminate 1 of the games and split the other 2 or put it all on 1 of them. My choice? The wrong one. I put $50 on the Titans and then cried on Sunday, all in all an up weekend, heres the final tally.
9/28 Indianapolis -3 1/2 $50.00 To Win $45.45 Won
9/28 5 Team Parlay Moneyline $15.00 To Win $80.35 Loss
Jets, Eagles, Colts, Titans, New England
9/28 Rams -3 1/2 $50.00 To Win $45.45 Won
9/28 Indy & Rams Parlay -3 1/2 $15.00 To Win $39.00 Won
9/28 Titans -3 $49.00 To Win $46.67 Loss
So I now stand at $245.65, a $145 gain over 4 weeks, not great but i'll take it, the goal is to use the moneys gained to capatalize on larger bets later in the year so Im not too dissapointed.

Ok, were back after a long layoff, below is a detailed report of my wagerings thus far this year, it's been profitable, but some losses 2 weeks ago and essentially a week off last week have sort of stagnated things. With the tipoff of the NBA season I hope to bump things back up a little bit. I've had success in the past with the NBA but it takes (me at least) a lot of work in handicapping things, but when done correctly their is alot of money to be made in hoops. Denver is rested at home against Utah playing the 2nd straight night on the road, I love NBA games like this as they tend to come out on the home side more often than not. There are a few other games like this tonight but I think this is the most solid pick of them all.
The Eagles game tommorow I've loved from the beggining of the week. I think if Westbrook plays, and it looks like he is, that the Eagles will be able to score enough to get by, much like the Cleveland game 2 weeks ago.

LOL. While i'm not happy with the outcome either, it's a pretty good barometer, for instance, Phoenix was also on my list, as they were playing the Nets who were returning from Chicago the night before, turns out that was the game to play :( . But i thought Denver was the best team playing with rest and the lowest spread, I think I just misjudged Utahs talent, ah well, early season mistake. As far as the Chiefs, dude, they have sursed me twice, i don't have the balls to play them again.............I don't think.

Hmmm, i don't have time to go over it right now, but i would take out any College games when assesing that, cause i suck at College and they're more hunches than solid plays.
As far as the NFL goes, it isn't a trend that i've noticed and it's any sort of system or plan I use so I dunno

Well, the general logic is: there's generally always an almost equal amount of $$ placed on each side of NFL games. The public, which bets much smaller amounts, makes up the majority of the favorite money - that means the pro's, who bet much larger amounts, must be on the other side.
And there's a reason they're pro's...
Again, just an observation. You've certainly been doing quite well this far.

Colts -7 $74.00 To Win $64.35
Do to all my shuffling of money between primary and secondary poker and gambling sites I had to dip into my bank account for this play as I had no available money in neteller, if this doesn't pan out I'm pretty sure that I'm done betting on the NFL for a couple of weeks. I'm still up but it has been rough month, a stagnant month and i'm in one of those frames of mind where, if i lose this game, I may try for the quick fix, which is never in anyones best interest. I've made a decent enough amount at Poker and the NFL through the summer that I can be very happy with my profit, but at some point I have to pull back and do what I always intended to do, which is pay off my credit card debt and buy some wrestling figures (dont ask). So to summarize my ramblings, win and continue, lose and go home. It's like my own little playoff game, lol.

2 wins in a row is nice, especially after my horrid streak, nice to maybe turn thing around a bit. I'm looking hard at San Antonio and Cleveland on Thursday, I like both those plays but we'll see.

Well, I am very mindful of what Radi said in a previous post here in this thread but I can't let it make me second guess myself, I like these plays so I'm gonna go with em, both road teams are rested and superior so I like going with the favorites in both cases here.
San Antonio -6 1/2 $17.00 To Win $15.45
Cleveland -7 1/2 $17.00 To Win $15.45

San Antonio was tougher than I wanted it to be but a nice 2-0 night keeps the streak alive and adds $30 to my account, not shabby.
Only thing that stands out to me tommorow night is a traveled Bulls team in Denver against a rested Nuggets squad, 9 is alot but i think Denver wins a blowout here.

Just wanted to throw some things out to anyone following this thread concerning sundays NFL games.
All things considered the line on the OAK/SD game looks way low.
I knew a wise old drunk circus employee once who had a mantra, "the line is telling me something", that line looks like it's begging for people to take SD, which really makes me wonder.
I'm also thinking that Baltimore should not be favored by 8 against anybody with that offense, and Dallas is due.
I'm also thinking that Seattle and Minnesota are both really due for big games.
And lastly, i'm sure of none of this because my NFL radar has been stinking like an old womans underwear lately.

I think you're dead on with the Ravens getting too many points i'd take Dallas also.
The San Diego line is a bit low, but i also felt the Pittsburgh line was alittle low last week against Cleveland and they covered easily. I know the old saying that if it looks to good to be true it probably is, but in this case i think San Diego covers because the Raiders are just plain bad.
Seattle and Minny - i have no read on either team.

3 NBA Plays for tonight,
Denver -9 $17.00 To Win $15.45
Dallas -9 1/2 $17.00 To Win $15.45
Lakers +8 $17.00 To Win $15.45
I like the Nuggets, they're home, rested and a far superior team, Chicago just plain sucks and while it's not back to back for them they are in the middle of a road trip and I just see Denver dominating en route to an easy win.
Dallas is another game where the home team is much better, well rested and at home. The Knicks are coming off a hard fought Houston game in the 2nd game of a back to back on a road trip, Dallas is a strong play in this one I think.
The Lakers game i'm not so sold on but I think it's way too early for the Suns to be giving 8 points against the Lakers, it may be that they are that much better but I don't think they deserve that kind of respect just yet, I think Kobe will shoot lights out and the Odom and Mihm can hold their own inside to make this a good game.

Well the Mavs broke my winning streak, early in the 4th it looked like the Knicks were gettin tired and the Mavs were pulling away but those damn Knickerbockers came back and nearly won it, bastards!
Lakers look like a sure cover and they may even win it, still 1:30 left though.
Nuggets finaly starting to pull away, 2 of 3 would nice.

Well a nice 2-1 night, another day on the plus side, which is fine with me, i'm gonna update my totals in a few minutes as I look forward to Sunday and try and get back on track in the NBA.

Okay, heres the updated totals, i felt a little sick when I saw the total cause at one point it was close to $400 profit and now.....well, it's lower. 2 things give me solace, I signed up at Party Poker and dear god is the play over there pathetic, and I seem to have a good grasp of the NBA so far, so all things considered i'm happy, and maybe even better than all these things, I seem to be off tilt. :)

Didn't play any NFL games today and it's a good thing, as all my instincts we're pretty much wrong, so I'm happy i had the self control to stay away, 3 NBA plays tonight including 2 big road dogs.
Lakers -12 $17.00 To Win $15.45
Sixers +12 $17.00 To Win $15.45
Bobcats +13 $17.00 To Win $15.45
Like the Lakers to romp and I like the Sixers and Bobcats. I think the Bobcats are strong enough inside with no Wallace for the Pistons to keep it close and I think the Sixers are honestly good enough to play with the Heat, if they can control Shaq I think they may even have a chance to win outright.

Went 2-1 tonight, Lakers didn't pull away till late and the Bulls got the cover, updating the all around totals now. Eh, its only 3 more games, no use in a giant post, maybe next weekend. I am now 7-2 in the NBA though, although the profit margin isn't that high, but i'm still scared from my tilt in the NFL.

Tommorows Play,
Minnesota Timberwolves +4 $21.00 To Win $19.09
Dallas is home but they're traveling tonight after playing Denver, TWolves I think are the better team with slight scheduling advantages getting 4, i like the play.
+4 is a hell of a deal on the T-Wolves..... they're -2 1/2 on Bodog....
Take it for what it's worth.... but for the Tuesday MAC game, I like Bowling Green -4 1/2...

Nice win tonight with the Wolves, they were down 10 with under 5 minutes left and actually came back to cover and win. I got the line before Dirk got hurt last night so that was a big plus. The NBA roll continues, havn't checked tommorows games yet but i think its now something like 8-3 since I started, probably gonna up the bets to the $20-$23 range now as I'm feeling pretty good with my feel of the game.

A little late documenting it but I played the Colts today -9 $30.51 to win $27.74.
I'm also looking hard at the Pacers a little later tonight, I know they're very short but Minnesota has been traveling all over the past 5 days and has not looked great doing it, I may play it, I may not, who knows.
Suicane75

2 Plays for tonight, I was so wiped out after dinner last night that I never made my Pacers play :( I also watched the Pit/WV game in anger as I was looking hard at Pit
So we're back tonight with 2 NBA plays.
Clippers +1 $20.00 To Win $18.18
Magic -5 $20.00 To Win $18.18
2 Road teams who arn't really traveling all that far at all, back to back for the Clipper which is why i think they're a dog, but the truth is that they should be 4 or 5 point favorites in this one. Both cases of road teams who are decent on the road playing teams who are bad, the low lines sealed the deal for me as I think both my picks are the right plays tonight, and i wouldnt be surpries to see blowouts in both games.
Suicane75
11-26-2004, 11:51 PM
2 More games, 2 More wins, I'm on a real nice roll right, but i keep cashin out which is why the bets are low, plus theres gonna be a ton of NBA bets over the season so as long as the win percentage stays high I'll be a happy panda.

Taking the Rams -7 tonight $23 to win $20, I just feel like this line is way out of whack, both teams are average teams with potential for great or horrid games. Pack has no running game AT ALL tonight, Rams are on a losing streak, Packers are on a winning streak, both those things will end soon as the ebb and flow of the NFL season dictates. Rams win this one 34-30 in a wild shootout.

I also thought Green Bay wouldn't be able to run the ball, but who knew Najeh Davenport would do his best Ahman Green impersonation. Ugh.

Suns -4 1/2 in Utah tonight, $23 To Win $20. Utah is depleted and has been struggling since a hot start and Phoenix should just overwhelm them tonight, despite it being in Utah.

Even with that the Rams just gave away so many scoring chances, even if they had been 50/50 on their mistakes it would have been real tight late. Missed FG's, bumbled FG's, interceptions, all that crap cost em. Bitter am I.

Played the Lakers -5 1/2 $25 to win $22.73 tonight, line is low cause the Lakers are on the 2nd of a back to back on a road trip and the Bulls are rested at home, but I don't think it matters. I could see a trap in this game but I think the chances are pretty low, 15-20%, and with the line being as low as it is I couldn't resist playing this one.
Nequea, i like most of your NBA plays, can't give an opinion on College cause i don't really follow it close enough to make an informed opinion. The only NBA game that worries me is the Suns/Cavs over, both teams are traveling and the Suns are coming off a hard game in Utah, both teams could be a little tired.

Screwed the pooch on those picks. Dumped $16 in and made a 2 team parlay on the Chiefs pk and Eagles -5 1/2. What the hell, its one of those crappy days.
I grabbed Green Bay Packers +6½ (-120).... here's hoping for an Eagle 6 pt win... :

LOL. I pulled that parlay out of my ass to make it a decent day, down $25 instead of $69 is a much better thing.

Welp, I cashed out, I'm done until at least after the new year, thanks for those that followed but that last $57 would be better served on Christmas gifts than further gambling at this point so until further notice, this thread is done.
