My main issue with Skydog is he seems to try and be cocky and funny with his power (Not the same cocky and funny when you're trying to get girls mind you). All of this (and the previous message contained in the link of discussion) could have been handled in a PM to Shorty. His message, whether intentional or not, serves as only to embarass Shorty. And since perception is reality, its overwhelmingly obvious to us here that Skydog was attempting flex his muscles when he posted the message (both of them).

Writing is just as powerful, if not more powerful, than the spoken word. You can't just write something and then say "oh no, it wasn't meant to sound like that". I guess I could have just banned him early in the morning for "nothing" (or so the complainers would have said), but I decided to just go ahead and do it with that post. The banning was probably a little overdue, if anything, but that is the case with most of the disciplinary actions that I end up taking.

I think the issue here is a domino effect. Id one guy got away with posting pictures, other clowns would come in and do it. I do not come to FOFC to look at pictures of naked women. Bingo. It didn't really have that much to do with that individual picture...just a pattern. I guess I could have just banned him early in the morning for "nothing" (or so the complainers would have said), but I decided to just go ahead and do it with that post. It had gotten to the point that it was a certainty that he was going to get banned, so there was no real reason to wait around any longer. The banning was probably a little overdue, if anything, but that is the case with most of the disciplinary actions that I end up taking.

SD banned someone for ignoring his warnings and repeating the offense, it doesn't matter how risque the pics were, thats not the point. He was warned, he blew off the mod, he got banned, Rufus' fault, entirely.
