OH! OK. Yeah, I had several new title requests, either this weekend or last week, I'm not sure. I don't really remember what they were. Just did 'em...
You're welcome!

I think a title is something you have to earn from SD himself. I was so jealous of "Villiage Idiot".

That's so... weak. It's like trying to choose your own nickname.

There was this guy in law school who was, all things considered, a nice guy, but a dweeb. He was one of those people who had too much self-confidence, at least relative to the confidence he inspired in others. Smart guy, but he did/said some incredibly stupid things, especially about how great at everything he was. Anyway, he came to law school as "Scott." Second year, he shows up and tells everyone that his nickname is Hunter and he would prefer that everyone call him that. We went out of our way to call him Scott every chance we had.

He hands out titles on a whim and I think its funny :)

FWIW, I think that other than those of game developers, *every* non-stock nickname on this board is a result of the user requesting it.

Interesting... I always assumed that you and Ryan put them there on your own accord, or at the request of another FOFC member...
I'm not a fan of picking your own nickname either... :D

Isn't it more fun to choose your screenname to be fun? Like having a screenname of "Lethargic Hooligan" rather than a lame name like Fritz?
And hey, whatever happened to renaming the girly-colored skin Flush to lurker? :P http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showpost.php?p=200283&postcount=26

There's no way SD could have come up with Lethargic Hooligan. Other than that, though, I have to admit I figured most of these names were bestowed upon people, not petitioned for.

Some members are assigned titles by me after deliberations with my team of advisors.
I don't think anybody has ever noticed one of these changes......
