OT: Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 demo released!

I've been looking forward to this game for several months now...I'm hoping it successfully makes the transition to 3-D. I played the first one a lot, but I didn't get the second one (since it was supposedly just like an expansion pack). I'm DL'ing the 184 MB demo and will post impressions later. Hopefully this keeps me entertained until the release in November! :)

Off the top of my head: fully 3D graphics, ride-your-own-coaster cam, create-a person (or, 'peep'), fireworks creator/choreographer. Plus the standard 'new scenarios, rides, etc'.

I played it for a little bit tonight. I can say I wasn't too impressed with what I saw. I don't need a 3D experience.

I will give it more time though. I will also look forward to reading some reviews.

I played it a little. I have to say that I love some of the new features, like the ride your own ride cam. Plus the night-time affects were really cool, especially when riding a coaster through your park at night, seeing fireworks in the sky.

It looks like a must-buy for me but that's just my opinion so take it at that. I loved the first version of the game. The second version just didn;t do the same thing for me. This one looks like it will take a little getting used to as far as the controls go but the eye candy has been enough to do it for me so far.

I understand there is a patch in the works for this game. Anyone bought it? I was addicted to the first game in a big way.

I've heard the first patch is out, but it introduced a few more bugs. Better to wait a while.
