Does anyone own this? I have been mulling it over for a while. The NFL coverage is it's most appealing feature. What do you think of it?

I love it. I haven't actually tried out the NFL network, but the huge amount of stations combined with no commercials makes it well worth the investment.

I've had it for about six months, i'll never go back to FM radio. I absolutely love it also.

Sirius is the only way to go. And I'm not just saying that because I host a show on Sirius Patriot 141. :)
The NFL coverage is great. The music channels are outstanding, especially Sirius Disorder and 1st Wave. They've got a boatload of talk channels (from both sides of the political spectrum).

When I bought mine, the salesman told me there was really not a big difference between the two. I think the main differences are that XM has better jazz stations (he was a jazz enthusiast) and I don't know if XM has the NFL broadcasts.

I wish I had Sirius.. just so I could tape the Vote For Change finale concert (Not to start a discussion of the political message it's conveying, but the reports of the mix and match groups doing classic songs from previous concert reports.. wow.. cool shit :D

Same subscription price. For the car, they install a holder and connect it to your stereo and add a small antenna. For the house you buy a holder that plugs into the A/V outlets on your stereo. The unit itself is portable. You can also buy a boombox to plug the unit into if you want to pretend you're an extra in Beat Street.

If you have a nice car and want a flashy CD player most after market CD players come XM/sirus ready.

I have been considering Sirius for a few months also. St. Louis FM radio is crap and commericials and the AM is a bunch of whiners talking about Mike Martz and the rest slobbering over Tony LaRussa. Here is my dillema... My drive to work is almost all covered by large trees. I would assume this may effect Satelittle reception. Any ideas? (Amazingly the kid at Best Buy didn't know the answer to this question)

I bought a Honda Accord a few months ago that came with XM radio pre-installed as standard equipment. I've really enjoyed it but would like to switch to Sirius because of the NFL games and station. Will the equipment be compatible or would I need to buy entirely new equipment in order to make that switch?

if you subscribe to Sirius you can listen online. You cannot use an XM receiver with a Sirius radio (or the other way around).

I hear Sirius is Tom Brady's new favorite receiver!

Does sirius have nascar / mrn radio or is it just an XM radio thing.
Another thing is that I would really like to listen to overseas radio, other than the BBC. Is that option available on Sirius or XM?
