View Full Version : Do you really WANt to see FOF 6 this year?

I just wanted to get a feeling about the rest of the board, about who really WANTS to see another pro football game from Solecismic this year. I know that I would rather see a game in some other area, not because I wouldn't like another addition to the pro football line, but because I would like an addition to another line more. This is assuming that there is only one game to be released this year :) .

Please remember, this poll is NOT would you buy FOF6, as most of us would, but do you really WANT to see it.

If it were to come out, I wouldn't buy it either. I never played FOF 4 much and I've played FOF 5 even less.

Baseball I'd buy in a heartbeat in all likelyhood because I think Jim would do the research, and clutch ratings and that kind of idiocy would be missing- pro football would be interesting- and a possible one. College sports are an absolute no no to me.

Agreed, I'm buying Myxyzptlk software's new game even if it's too-often mentioned Front Office Curling. Jim's games have all been that good.

But I'm with Aadik, I want Baseball more than anything. There's no baseball sim that's even close to good enough for me. I'm tired of shelling out for OOTP and hoping.

I don't want MP. I just want a good single-player baseball sim.

YES! i want an improved FOF every new year with new features to keep being the best football sim. I have the hope that one day we could have player/coach/gm personalities/tendencies.

I'd get it even if MP don't transfer since I play 2004 alot as a solo game as well.

With Jim being in IHOF and seeing what work and energy people put in to the leagues it just impossible for me to see him making a new FOF without the possibility to transfer leagues.

It must also have opened his eyes for all the small things that could help make the game even more fun and addictive to play in MP (and single).

I hope for a new and/or updated FOF

I really think Jim has just scratched the surface with respect to MP leagues, chemistry, and gameplanning/depthcharts. While I would love to see a baseball game that actually has dev that makes sense (as opposed to something like...ummm...ootp) another entry in the pro football arena would be just fantastic.

I absolutely love FOF mp - my favorite gameplanning decision from him...ever.
