I recently saw ads on tv from EA that basically said that if you buy 2 EA games you get a 3rd one free. Has anyone else seen this?

No, but I do know that I get 3 Sega Sports games for $10 more than it costs for one EA game.

I wouldn't be surprised. They've done this in years past with their PC sports games, but haven't seen the deal offered on the console side yet.

Yes I have. I wonder if it counts for games already bought this year.... (but I really doubt it)

They have had this deal off and on for years - and usually at this time of year. I remember taking advantage of this twice in the late 90s.

Well, I'm positive I don't have the receipts for the games, so oh well (can't think of a 3rd one that I'd want anyway).

On the topic of deals, I just ordered NBA 2K5(XBox) for $14.99 from Best Buy. This Link (http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/371559/) from the fatwallet forums tells how you may be able to get it for $9.99.

Yeah, I mean, what better way to spend your gaming money than on 3 out of season sports games for $100 that will be worth $5 each in 6 months rather than 12.

I hate the endless cycle of buying sports games. Im beginning to think that it is more cost effective to use a service like gamefly, cause ill play the hell out of madden for a month or so, but then its like you dont get shit for trading it in, and i usually dont go back and play Madden once i put it down. Tiger Woods is usually a really quality product tho, Timberlake or not.

Well, I think Sega gave people a viable alternative this year. When you only have to pay for full price for a sports game every 2.5 years, that seems much more reasonable than shelling out $50 every year.
