FOF2004-had a 2-14 team where 12 losses came by 8 points or less, lost 3 straight games on last second FG.
TCY-had a 0-11 team once that lost 7 games by 8 points or less and loss another by 13 points in OT when the opponets scored a TD and we threw an INT which was returned for a TD.
STB-had 3 straight winning seasons but no playoffs in any of them
OOTP-none that I can think of.
FBCB-had a team lost in the 1st round of the tournament 5 years in a row, lost to seeds 12,12,13,11,14.

Would you really consider this unlucky? I never considered Arizona or Indiana unlucky when they would choke in the NCAA Tourney. They just didn't perform when it mattered most for whatever reasons. But good teams don't get upset because of "luck" 5 years in a row.

Just my 2 cents.

In Real Life Oregon State lost 3 years in a row in the NCAA tournament as a number 1 seed in the early 80s before the tournament expanded to 64 teams.

Vince doesn't count. he actively is trying to lose in as many different ways as possible.

he is sucking that badly on purpose, right?

OOTP (versions 3-5), I'd consistently win 100+ games and crush people all season long...only to get swept or lose 3-1 in the first round of the playoffs. This happened with several different teams over several different dynasties. It could be said it's how I built the team, but my team was consistently #1 in runs scored and #1 in runs allowed. Not every year, but we were at the top often enough where it really pissed me off.

I don't OOTP much these days.

My eNFL team is pretty unlucky this season. 2-7 and I lost those seven games by an average of 4.6 points. Only lost by more than 1 TD in 1 game.

So what have we learned today, kids?

There is no such thing as luck. If you think otherwise, prove it.

Thanks guys. :)

Sadly, the first thing I thought of when I read this title was "I think the theme of this thread is going to be 'Vince wins.'" And that's not a good thing :(

I'll admit that Vince's team was the first thing I thought of. Completely snake-bitten.

Did Billy Donovan sign a contract with the makers of FBCB?

Nah Shorty, the 'Cats usually don't self implode until Round #2 of the Tournament. :)
