I am buying an Xbox tomorrow, and was wondering what I all needed to set up Xbox live.

Do I need a separate connection for the internet, or can I just unplug my computer's cable line and plug it into my Xbox when I feel like playing Xbox live? This would be great since my PC is right next to my PS2, and soon to be Xbox.

When downloading rosters for sports games, is it easy to do that?

What are your favorite Xbox Live games?

Is there anything I need to set up Xbox live other then the internet line?

I use a router and a separate connection, but YES you can use the one that plugs into your PC. The great thing about having a permanent connection is everytime you turn your Xbox on, you can see who's on Live. (friends list)

Yes, very easy to download rosters, in fact most of them are automatic when you start Live with X game. Although getting an Action Replay is a MUST for NCAA game rosters.

I would recomment the LIVE kit, complete with 1 year subscription and headset. It's a blast talking and playing at the same time.

*ANY* ESPN game, I love hockey and basketball on LIVE as well as Madden, don't have Halo 2 yet, but I've read it's a blast.

Halo 2 is a must.... no question. It makes the wireless router adapter and headset I bought specifically for the game completely worth it.

I'd like to get a wireless headset.
