The only reason I have Oklahoma ahead of Cal is because they're unbeaten. If they played, I think Cal would easily win.

I'm offended by your clear bias against OU. If they win the title, you're going to say they didn't deserve it.

I see. I could care less really this goes back to what I said before OU fans on the web are a bunch of losers. One person doesnt believe the hype and they are all at arms. Eat a dick and swollow the cum bitch.

Yes, because we should all believe that OU fans are steadfast in their objectivity regarding their own team's ability.
I recall with great laughter the "greatest college team of all time" talk from last season. That one worked out well for you. I was told I was an idiot when I dared suggest KSU would give you a game. And when I flatly stated LSU would win, more insults from Sooner Nation.
Good times.

First, I want to apologize to Noop for acting like an ass yesterday. You have a right to your opinion and I should never had calling you names. I hope you accept this apology.
Second, I don't recalled ever posting or saying that last year's OU team was "the greatest of all-time", but I know I did post that we would kill Kansas State in last year's championship game. I also said that LSU had no chance against OU and I was wrong.
Now, I do believe that OU should be undefeated barring a Cyclone upset at the Big XII Championship Game. However, I will not take for granted what Auburn or USC can do against the Sooners. I think that we have a good shot as any to beat them, but it could easily be a Tiger or Trojan win. The running game is a big help for them because Jason is not as banged up and has been as accurate as ever. I look forward to either teams playing against Oklahoma. It should be a game to watch.

I find it funny sometimes how the anti-OU crowd so rabidly bashes the OU fans on this board saying we're the ones who are being unreasonable. The "greatest team of all-time" crap rarely, if ever, came from Sooner fans. It was the media hype. But guys like Huckleberry like to throw that back in OU fans faces like we were the ones claiming it.
I will admit that I thought OU was untouchable last year. Nearly everyone did, even people who hated OU. Noop wasn't being some kind of phenomenal prognosticater. He was showing his disdain for OU and their fans, and in my opinion, he got lucky that they lost. He didn't see anything that the rest of us didn't see; he just went against the grain and ended up being right.
After OU lost to KSU, I think a lot of OU fans were humbled. We realized that that team was not untouchable, and I think very few people think this year's team is untouchable. OU can lose to Iowa State. They can lose to Auburn, and they can lose to USC. But they can also win all three of those games, and someone who claims to know otherwise is fooling themself.
I don't condone some of the talk of some OU fans. Luckily, duckman has apologized for some of the things he said. I think Noop should do the same.
But it always strikes me how OU fans on this board, and in this thread, are always called out for being so vocal about their team. But what do expect when some others are being vocal against their team? Everyone who feels strongly about a team rises to defend that team. It's called passion, and it's not unique to Oklahoma.

I have said it before I have no problem with OU the team or program because I respect what they have done and how they have done it. I have stated many times over and over I have problems with the fans I have ran into on the internet. I said in another post I will not seek to bash OU or anything I will keep them to myself for the rest of the season. I will offer opinions and that is it nothing more nothing less. I didn't lucky I said it well in advance of the collaspe at the height of their regular season run. I said why I thought they werent as good as stated during the that season. I turned out to be right no big deal I have been wrong many times. Now this latest clash happen because i ranked OU tied with Cal at three on our FOFC Poll...should I explain why? If we're going to set that precdent(sp?) then everyone single person should. I apologized to Duckman in private and will do so public I have no ill will toward anyone of the college football fans on this board.

All I'm saying Noop is that I think your dislike for the OU fans sometimes clouds your judgment about OU the team. I could be completely wrong. That's just the way I see it.
You absolutely have every right to your opinion, especially in these poll threads. That's the whole point of them. I think you're opinion on OU this season is wrong, but then again I thought that last year too and look what happened. ;)
Seriously, there aren't any ill feelings or anything from me, and I hope my post didn't sound like I was attacking you. That wasn't my point at all. My point was simply to mention how people berate OU fans for their passion then turn around and do the same thing in their bashing of OU fans.
I don't think (I certainly could be wrong of course) that I've ever ragged on someone for their votes in these polls, and I can't remember ever asking someone to justify their votes, even when I disagree with them.

I'm not sure if you read what I was saying. I was saying that maybe the problem you do have (with the OU fans) is effecting your analysis of the Sooner team, not that you have any kind of a problem with the team themself. I've heard you reiterate that you don't have any problem with Oklahoma many times, but I still find it odd that you consistently place OU lower than most others in the polls and take shots at them in other threads discussing college football. I looked back at last year's polls, and you made the same kind of comments then as well.
My statement was really referring to something that may be somewhat unconscious with you, that you're feelings for the fans could be effecting your analysis of the team.
Again, I could be wrong, and I figure you will probably think that I am. I'm just giving my opinion based upon what I've seen.

I already said I will discuss OU if they are in a discussion I will give my opinion if you think it is slanted I can do nothing about that... I won' say anything for the reason of the season other then my opinion and kudos when I see fit.
