There are a lot of good titles out there for the Christmas rush. I would like to see Blackie have a follow up article with where we can go and get good/honest reviews of all these games. Most Gaming rags average 80% across the board on all games...that doesn't really help me.

Hey, great article Blackie. I share in your dispair over HL2, my three-year old computer can't handle it either. :( Luckily, as you point out, there are plenty of other options. I look forward to your next article later this week. Pointing out the good deals saves us all a lot of work. Thanks again!

I've never seen as many A list games realeased at once. I have the new GTAIII, the Halo 2, Half Life 2 and because of this freakin board, ESPN College Hoops. (as usual, I can rely on the people here to get it right) That isn't even counting the text based games being released. TBP, TM2005 and FOF 5.1 are all games I've bought as well.
The status? Halo 2 is still in the box, unopened. GTAIII and HL2 are busy sucking up 95% of my free time. Now, with as good as the college hoops game looks like it is, that'll suck up the rest.
This isn't even mentioning the fact I never got a ton of time with ESPN NHL before this wave of games hit.
I can look at the positives though. Outside of The Simpsons and sporting events, I haven't watched a second of network TV in nearly a month.
