How do you know you love it? You spend approximately 15 hours a day asking questions here and on greydog software. Have you played it yet?

If you are setting your own gameplans and lineup, I would weigh the value of the player and your current situation. Like, If you have your star RB as Questionable, are you making a run for the postseason? If they are probable, I most likely play them, Questionable, maybe, and Doubtful, no. I'd rather not risk further injury to a starter, especially if he is your star player. Look at your alternatives on your roster, switch some positions if you have to, because if you play the guy that is questionable or somewhat injured, his 3 week injury may turn into 60 weeks, and it is OH SO FUN to be stuck with a guy on your roster who you can't play or cut.

Assuming the player is a starter on the depth chart:
PROBABLE means there's about a 75% chance he will start, and he's almost sure to get some playing time.
QUESTIONABLE means it's about 50-50 whether he'll start. He's likely to play at least some in the game.
DOUBTFUL means there's about a 25% chance he will start, and roughly 50-50 whether he will play at all.
There's definitely a risk of more severe injuries if they play, and the more they play, the bigger the risk. And their performance does go down if they play hurt.

I tend to let players with injuries to their joints heal entirely before playing them again. Especially with knee problems, I let the player heal up before letting him play again.

This should be in the Newbie Questions thread, jbmagic.

Probable and one week until full strength, I'll play them
Probable and two or more weeks, sit 'em down
Questionable and out - sit them.
I agree with Kodos, even with a Probable (1 week left) injury you risk losing him long-term if it's a knee and he goes down again.

to be sure he dont play..its best to put him INACTIVE than putting him deep on the depth chart right?

If you inactivate him first, then go to your depth chart, he shouldn't be an option at all.

I think if a player isn't listed in your depth chart, he can't play, I could be wrong on this though, but it's what I've always believed.

I'm pretty sure he can play special teams...
that will be good if it had a special team depth chart to setup in the future.
only can do kick and punt returner and gunners setup as of now

Are you sure about that? That seems like an FOF4 thing, but nothing I noticed since.

i guess it safe to just put them inactive if there injure...so you know for sure they wont get in the game...
