Is anyone using a Wireless Network with XBOX Live? What are you using and is it working ok? I already have a Wireless Router now I just need to get a Wireless Adapter and I am looking at getting the 802.11g Wireless Gaming which cost $80. Hoping there is a cheaper alternative. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm using a wireless network with X-BOX Live. I'm using the 802.11g wireless gaming adapter that you mentioned and it cost me 80 dollars. However, it works flawlessly. There is also a device made by Unisys which does the same thing, but it didn't work for me for some reason. It was about the same price if my memory is correct.

Thanks, do you know if I will be able to use the 802.11g for both PS2 and XBOX Live by just simply switching where the cable goes?
Thanks again. I will probably just get the 802.11g and play it safe.

If your wireless network also supports 802.11b, then that would be a cheaper alternative than buying a 802.11g adapter. Since I assume you are using it for Xbox Live, the extra speed capabilites of the 802.11g (54mbs vs. 11mbs) won't buy you anything.

I'm not sure. I had the Linksys wireless adapter for too long to return it before I realized it was only working for my PS2 and not my X-Box. So, I now use the Linksys wireless adapter for my PS2 and the microsoft adapter for my X-Box. My wireless router is a 802.11g Linksys by the way.
