I'm watching PTI and hearing Trev Alberts cry about how Auburn doesn't even get a chance to win a NC, and I'm wondering what if Auburn were to spank VT in the Sugar Bowl and either USC or OU won in a close but poorly played game. Could the AP poll leapfrog Auburn over the Sooners and Trojans and create yet another split NC?

Doubt it. Possible, but I doubt it. There seems to be a consensus, despite what Trev Alberts says, that USC and Oklahoma are the better two of the three. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but it just seems to be the consensus.

If all teams go unbeaten then in my eyes there are multiple champs.

Well, if I'm an AP voter than I vote Auburn #1 if they win, no matter how they win.
Because then I have a juicier story to write about. :)

Me too. I got all excited for a second thinking that North Carolina was going to have a Civil War. Which would've given us "ReallyNorth Carolina" and "Somewhat Southish North Carolina."
Alas.
