Moving music files from one drive to another on the same computer

I noticed this morning that the C drive on our laptop is full. The D drive has about 20 or so gigs of space.

I have itunes and am in the process of ripping all of my cds and storing them on my computer. Soon, I will run out of space on my C drive.

My simple noob question to y'all: Do I need to manually move the itunes library from the C drive to the D drive? Or will the computer just start storing on the D drive automatically? Or, do I need to remove itunes and reinstall it to the D drive?

If you go into ITunes edit menu click on preferences, then go to advanced. Here you should see an option to change the Itunes music folder, which you should switch to the D drive so it will presumbably put the new ripped CDs in a folder on that drive.
