BYU - Utah Coaching Carousel Update

For those that are interested.

Meyer will be coaching the Utes in the bowl game, however he has taken the WR's coach with him to Florida.

Utah OC has accepted the head coaching job at UNLV.

Whittingham was offered both HC positions from Utah and BYU.

It appears today, that he has accepted to be the next HC at Utah.

BYU, as rumour has it, has offered Norm Chow the HC position as well for $750,000 and he is pondering it...although he is interviewing with Stanford, where I think he will go. If that is the case, look for Whittingham to try and keep his TE's Coach Uperesa, as he will more than likely head to Stanford and by OL coach or OC for Norm.

This is interesting. At almost any other time i would consider a move from Notre Dame to Utah to be a major step down, but in this case, it might actually be a step up.
